The Kintbury Ballet School opened in January 2011 at The Coronation Hall, Kintbury (between Hungerford and Newbury). Children’s ballet classes are held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday during school term times and adult ballet on a Friday morning.
Alex Foley has taught ballet to a professional level for the last 20 years. A former professional dancer with a passion for teaching ballet. She taught at The Royal Ballet School, White Lodge, for 5 years, until moving to the area.
All classes can lead to RAD examinations if so desired.


Alex Foley has danced with major ballet companies including
The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet and The National Ballet Of Canada

Three years with National Ballet of Canada and five years with English National Ballet, performing principle, soloist and corps de ballet roles. Retrained and graduated with distinction at the Royal Academy of Dance professional dancer’s teaching course.
Since then has taught at international summer schools in Japan, USA, Europe and London for the RAD  and The Royal Ballet Upper and Lower Schools. Freelanced in London for five years and taught at the Ballet Centre in Dubai for five years.
Alex Founded The London Dance Academy with Kate Durham-Matthews in 2005 on her return from Dubai.
